https://www.head-fi.org/threads/precogs ... ns.937468/Aroma Audio Jewel (tonality 5): Sucked out upper-midrange and lower-treble kills definition. Bass is poor. Needs work.
$ 5,130.00 Aroma Audio Wei Fan (tonality 6): U-shaped with extra mid-bass. Strong focus on upper-treble leads to feathery tactilty, but quite dynamic sounding and detailed.
$ 4,688 Astell & Kern Novus (tonality 8 ): Colored and unconventionally tuned, in a good way, with top-tier technical performance.
4 999,00 US$ Campfire Audio Bonnerville (tonality 4): Still muffled sounding with odd mid-treble peak, but more palatable than the Cascara and Ponderosa.
1 899,00 US$ Campfire Audio Supermoon (tonality 6): Heavily V-shaped while hanging onto tonal balance by a thread.
1 099,00 US$ Campfire Audio Solaris Stellar Horizon (tonality 6): Decent, seems like a small improvement over the Solaris 2020.
1 999,00 US$ Campfire Audio Trifecta (tonality 3): Literally sounds like balls.
3,299 US$ Empire Ears Odyssey (tonality 7): Generally reminiscent of the Empire Ears EVO with a more relaxed upper-midrange and more extended upper-treble.
3,399 US$FatFreq Grand Maestro (tonality 6): Extremely heavy - but controlled - bass shelf with neutral midrange and treble.
3,599 US$FiR Audio Xenon 6 (tonality 5): Good detail, but frequency response is contentious.
$ 3,899 InEar Prophile P8 (tonality 7): Excellent, slightly warm-reference tonality with very strong separation despite average staging.
1,562 US$ InEar Pro Mission X (tonality 6): A more V-shaped PP8.
2,173 US$Noble Audio Kublia Khan (tonality 5): Somewhat wonky tonality, but expansive staging and solid detail.
2,599 US$Noble Audio Onyx (tonality 5): Unabashedly colored to the point of which it hampers resolution; pretty easy on the ears, though.
3,200 US$ Nostalgia Audio Camelot (tonality 4): Sounds very odd like the Teserract. Pinna gain is totally non-existent, although the treble on this sounds better.
$2,599 Softears Engima (tonality 6): Sounds like the RSV with a DD and more bass focus. Treble seems whispy around 15kHz.
3,699 US$ Oriolus Traillii Ti (tonality 7): Well executed tuning with good detail pick-up. Falls short in dynamics and imaging performance due to lackluster treble response.
8,499 US$ Unique Melody FuSang (tonality 6): Andromeda-esque sound signature without the technicalities to back it up.
4,588 US$ Unique Melody MEST Indigo (tonality 7): Basically a more bass-heavy MEST MKII with some slight setbacks in treble extension.
2,700 US$ Unique Melody Multiverse Mentor (tonality 6): A departure from UM's house sound for a more conventional, upper-midrange heavy presentation and strong clarity.
4,499 US$ Unique Melody Red Halo (tonality 4): Rolled-off on both ends for a thick, mid-centric sound and poor detailing.
6,499 US$ Vision Ears EXT (tonality 6): Warm and inviting sound signature with good extension on both ends; however, mid-treble is slightly aggressive.
$3,160Vision Ears EXT MKII (tonality 6): Ridiculously bright, sounds the same as the EXT MKI except with even more upper-treble.
4,200 US$ Vision Ears Phonix (tonalita 7): Essentially an Erlkonig on Setting 3 with more treble extension.
4,200 US$ ·Canpur CP74E (tonality 6): Forward, midrange-focused sound. A bit fatiguging but reminds me of a 7A Supernova with more clarity.
2,899 US$ ForteEars Macbeth (tonality 5): Thin and glassy sounding upper-midrange and excessive amounts of upper-treble. Clarity focused with poor execution.
4,000 US$ PMG Audio APX SE (tonality 6): Clarity focused sound with elevated 1-3kHz region and excessive treble energy. Fatiguing to hear.
6,000 US$ Brise Audio Fugaku (tonality 8,5): Top tier bass response and dynamics, only falling short in coherency and treble is quite bright.
16,999 US$ Noble Audio Spartacus (tonality 7): Well-tuned, warm and colored with some sparkle in the lower-to-mid treble. Very pleasant and bass is not bad at all.
1,799 US$ Alpha Omega Omega (tonality 6): Good resolution and technicalities but tonality seems a bit poor: sucked lower-midrange and odd pinna gain, treble seems incoherent.
2,699 US$ Lime Ears Anima (tonality 6): Vocals have an odd pinna rise. Basically like someone took the Moondrop Variations and made it sound weird.
$3,800 Lime Ears Pneuma (tonality 5): Warm and dark, quite inoffensive but a long ways off it's asking price.
2,033 US$Noble Audio Viking Ragnar (tonality 6): Sharp and defined presentation, particularly in the mid-treble. Sounds somewhat digital as a result.
4,000 US$ FiR Radon 6 (tonality 6): Probably the most palatable FiR IEM, colored presentation with spicy mid and upper-treble.
$3,299 Noble Audio Ronin (tonality 5): Lower midrange is overly thick and not enough treble extension to pull off this type of tuning. Like a scuffed Andro 2020.
3,900 US$ThieAudio Monarch MKIII (tonality 7,33): Still perplexingly poor bass performance, but improves upon the Monarch MKII's treble extension noticeably.
999 US$ Symphonium Audio Crimson (tonality 8. ): Colored tonality done correctly with incredible bass and dynamics. Upper-treble can be slightly too zingy depending on source.
$1,499 USDEmpire Ears Raven (tonality 8 ): Sounds quite hi-fi and grand sounding, but coherency could use work - bass is distinct from the EST tweeters.
3,599 US$ Elysian Annihilator 2023 (tonality 8 ): Still the king of the K-Pop / J-Pop genre for female vocals with more of a sub-bass focus than the 2021 version.
2,999 US$ Subtonic Storm (tonality 8,67): Easily at the top for resolution and dynamic contrast, mimics two channel speakers very closely for an IEM minus center imaging.
5,200 US$ 64 Audio U12t (tonality 8,7): Terrific dynamic range and soundstage depth; the closest I have heard to a two-channel system in an IEM for these qualities.
1,999 US$ Empire Ears Odin (tonality 8,33): High-clarity signature that invokes a sense of stateliness.
3,399 US$ Sony IER-Z1R (tonality 8 ) : Top-tier bass, treble, and soundstage height and width. I don't approve of the midrange these days.
